The performance successfully forced the Americans seat upward roadblocks at every route junction too checked every passer past times for identification, dramatically slowing the transportation organisation that was too thus critical for the Allied nation of war effort: British General Bernard Montgomery was stopped too checked too thus many times that he afterward asked Eisenhower for an American identification bill of fare to speed upward the process!
